Short version

The ChessBop app collects no personal data and sends nothing anywhere. It does not even have permission to use the internet.

The app

Your progress (solved puzzles, level, day streak) and settings are stored only on your device.

Reminders are scheduled locally on your device. You can turn them off in the app or in Android settings.

There are no ads, no analytics, no tracking SDKs, no accounts and no in-app purchases.

If Android backup is enabled on your device, Android may include the app's progress in your device backup to your Google account. This is handled by Google under its terms; we never receive this data.

We do not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children, because the app collects no data at all.

This website

chessbop.com has no cookies, counters or third-party scripts. Like any web server, it keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, requested page, browser) for security and troubleshooting; they are not used for anything else and are routinely rotated. The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes requests to protect and speed up the site.
